Brisbane's Big Sound festival was a treat for a sweet peep at a few of the artists there. It was in the cosy red draped living room of the Troubadour that I stood with a pair of jeans, a shirt, camera and two ears to listen to Boy and Bear in their vocal treatment. If only I could have grown a third ear to truly hear the depth of their creative sound, however two ears was enough to get me leaning towards the stage with my leather shoes at their absolute toe stretch. Jinja Safari was playing at the Bakery Lane stage and put up a good show considering the sound tech male man just couldn't get his date to the front door for a kiss. Full of energy and a whole lot of jungle/surf love Jinja Safari are just a bakery treat every time.
